Civil Protection in Aswan Controls Fire in Workshop

Civil protection forces in Aswan successfully contained a fire that broke out in a workshop in the Al-‘Ailiqat area of the Daraw district in central Aswan on Sunday.

According to a report received by Major General Mohamed Abu Al-Leil, Director of Aswan Security, the fire occurred in a blacksmithing workshop in the Al-‘Ailiqat area. Firefighting vehicles were promptly dispatched to the scene to extinguish the flames.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit, which completely destroyed the workshop and its contents. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported. Legal procedures have been initiated regarding the incident.
